But but but, I think the idea is really cool. In fact, it reminds me a little bit of The Org (https://theorg.com/) which I believe is a user-generated map of a company team infrastructure. Joining means you know who leads finance at Netflix and who they report to, populated by the finance team at Netflix with the incentive to build better organizational data maps.
That but for all types of occupations, labor functions, industries, etc. very valuable.
Yes, good call that the org could be a little case study. As it happens, I think they scrape their stuff from linkedin vs people generating the content. But I presume the plan is to grow in a direction where people generate it

It still doesn't tie people to a "civilizational activity," it just ties them to their company and add org chart context. Cool but different.
Exactly right but I'm saying the mechanisms of user-generated occupational profile mapping has proof of concept. Bodes well for a concept like this.
