Post #25: CivTracker: Tracking Civilization's Pursuits

Hello, been a while. I continue to pursue my interest in how do we create a more “existentially relevant” civilization. Currently I’m working on a project called “CivTracker.” The general idea is to track civilization’s pursuits. The intuition behind this one is in order to know if our civilization is more or less existentially relevant, we first have to know what we’re actually doing. As it currently stands, there’s no transparent way to see what the 8 billion of us are pursuing. I think it’s possible to leverage an internet community to create this database. You can think about it like Wikipedia, except instead of cataloging general knowledge, CivTracker catalogs the things that our civilization is pursuing.
