We lack a shared vision for the future. While humanity inevitably shares a common future, we don’t have agreement on what that future should be. Our institutions- including our religions, governments, and economies- are meant to get society on the same page. But as we get deeper into the information age, their associated tools- scripture, laws, and free markets- are not enabling humanity to reach an agreement around which future we all want. They are failing.
